A Kingdom of Your Own

Growing up, most little girls know so many fairy tale stories.  This is why most of them want to be a princess.  These little kids want to live in a wonderful palace, with their own knights, their own kingdom to rule, and of course, a lovely prince whom they will live happily ever after with.

Then these kids grow up and realize that most of their fairy tale dreams are not coming true.  They start to learn that fairy tales only happen in the books they read.

As they grow to become lovely ladies, they will learn that true kingdom doesn’t mean a huge palace but a life filled with contentment, love, and happiness.

Going Out of Your Comfort Zone

Many people love adventures.  But sometimes they are too afraid to take risks.  This is why only a few people succeed.  The fear of losing and failing makes these people not want to do it.

Staying in their status quo is one of the reasons why we stay just right where we are.  Some of us are enjoying the comfort that we currently have and do not want to try something else because we are already in our comfort zone.

However, sometimes, what’s good about taking risks is that you achieve something new.  Something you never have experienced before – something that’s worth the risk.

So go on, take the challenge of life.  Have fun.  Take risks.  Embrace failure.  Get out of your comfort zone.

A Loving Arms

While we were enjoying a day in the beach, I saw some of our friends enjoying the waves.  They were overwhelmed and were jumping against it!  Hours pass and the waves seemed to grow bigger and bigger.

The kids are still in enjoying the waves even though it has become bigger, they still love it! Then I saw a little boy about four years old embracing his father’s arms so that he would not fall.  They were both having fun.  The little boy was not worried at all even though the waves are big because he knows that his dad will always be there to hold him and protect him.

It’s wonderful to think that no matter what happens, we can always know that our dads will always be there for us and matter.  A father’s loving arms will always be there to protect us.

Seek to be Right VS Taking the Blame

Two families lived nearby. One family had constant quarrels and the other one lived quietly and friendly.

One day, feeling jealous about nice atmosphere flourished in the neighboring family, wife told her husband:

– Go to the neighbors and look what they are doing for such well-being.

The husband came, hid and started watching. He saw a woman who was wiping the floor in the room. Suddenly something distracted her, and she ran to the kitchen. At that time her husband rushed into the room. He did not notice the bucket of water, occasionally kicked it, so the water overflowed.

Then his wife came back from the kitchen and said him:

– I’m sorry, honey, it’s my fault because I did not remove the bucket from the pass.

– No, I ‘m sorry, honey, it’s my fault, because I did not notice it.

The man returned home, where the wife asked him:

– Did you understand the reason of their well-being?

– I guess that I did. You see, we always seek to be right, while each of them takes the blame on himself.
