I Dream of Getting a Perfect Car

*Sponsored post

I dream of getting a perfect car,
A car that would serve my family best;
A car that will be part of us for a long time
And will be our companion in family bonding and travel.

It will have a space big enough to accommodate our growing family,
Where I can place my children's car seats without any delay.
It will be ready to go with us on an adventure,
Whether that's going to on a long highway trip
Or a trip on a bumpy road as we visit our small farm.

This car should have  crash avoidance and protection features,
It should have airbags, electronic stability control, and active braking systems.
This car will take us to our destination,
And carry us home safe and sound.

I  know getting a perfect car isn't easy,
That is why I don't do things in a hurry;
Finding the right dealership is important
As they will be my partner for a long time.

Whether a car dealership is an actual store,
Or online like cars.com doesn't matter at all.
What's important is you get the right service
From the dealership that you want to work with.

I know this car will be waiting for us,
And hopefully, by the time we are financially capable,
We'll own this perfect car of my dreams. ♥

Receiving My First Pay

I can still remember from years ago when I received my first pay.
It was the first fruit of my hard earned labor, I didn't know what to say.
I know it wasn't a lot but I'm still lucky anyway,
I finally got a job where I'm going to get a regular pay.

Long after that, I decided to quit my job,
My pay's not enough, I said to myself.
I will find another job that will help me grow and learn more,
And give me much better offer than what I had before.

I was right for letting that job go,
I was accepted for another job after about a week or two.
How happy I was to land this job,
I will surely be able to save more now, I won't feel odd.

Funny that in life we keep wanting more.
One day what we have was just right,
The next day, we say it's not everything is not alright.
We go search again and find another thing which we thought could make us contented,
Only to, later on, leave it for another thing we thought we'd be pleased.

In this life, the key is contentment.
No matter how big or small we have, if we learn to appreciate, we won't want anything more.
Sure it's sure to dream of something bigger, but a dream is different from selfish ambition.

Be happy with what you have.
Be thankful for the things you received.
In every opportunity, learn to give thanks,
And you from there, the happiness you will find.

The Nature's Perfection

I watch the west as the sun slowly rests for the day. Little by little, the darkness starts to occupy the sky. It was a beautiful sunset. The sky begins to show its purple-ish color match by an orange color from the sun's rays.

It was perfect. The sunset was perfect. The day transitioned from twilight to night in front of my very eyes and I am in awe of what nature can show me and so much more.

His handy-work is majestic. God's wondrous creation is amazing. Words are not enough to describe how great His creation is.

It is sad that many of these wonderful creations are now destroyed by another creature - the human. We have stained nature, destroyed its being and abused it to our benefit.

As I sleep tonight, I will always be reminded of that beautiful sunset. I am privileged to be able to see it. As much as I can, I will take care of the environment. I will be responsible.

What Good Will Cutting a Hair Give?

**This is a sponsored post. All opinions are of the writer's.

I still see the little girl in me: sitting on a small chair in front of a mirror. With a pair of sharp scissors in hand, she's combed her hair and prepared to cut some front hair for bangs she always wanted to have.

Being the 8-year old that she was, the haircut she thought would come out nicely turned out to be a disaster! It was the shortest hair she's ever cut and there's no way she could hide it! When the older people saw it, they were teasing her because of her bangs-gone-bad looks.

Two decades after and I still remember that little girl who was so curious about trying so many things. That haircut disaster became part of her life and that memory will always bring a smile on her face.

This girl now knows that she can't just cut her or somebody else's hair. She needs help from someone who is either skilled or trained to do the job. Did she ever cut her hair on her own since then? No, she hasn't at all!

This girl-turned-woman now has thick, ebony hair. They are not the perfect hair but she has them treated regularly. She knows that some girls are not gifted with hair and some of them sadly get bald because of cancer. She now occasionally donates hair to be used by others.

Aside from that, she is also considering donating more by buying a wig online. She thinks that in this small gesture, she can bring a smile on a cancer patient's lips.
